Luke 1: 26-38: The angel Gabriel visits Mary and tells her that she will bear the Messiah.
SERMON: What About Mary? We Protestants have a history of not paying much attention to Mary, but her story as well as her history in the church are fascinating and communicate much about the human condition. The sermon will include references to five paintings of Marian art, copies of which will be included in the bulletin.
